Claim Examiner เจ้าหน้าที่พิจารณาประกัน
- Job Summary: The Claim Examiner will be responsible for handling Travel Insurance Claims, Extended Warranty (B&W) claims provide high level customer service and develop good relationships through various partners. Essential Job Functions: 1. Process all travel claims, extended warranty claims having regard to the validity of the policy/claim, policy limits, the circumstances surrounding the claim, cost containment opportunities and Company service standard requirements/time-frames for the processing and finalization of all claims. 2. Provide Claims Management reports as evidence of the service standards being achieved. 3. Liaise with the Medical Assistance Coordinator as necessary in the management of emergency medical claims. 4. Liaise with external providers as appropriate to ensure claims are managed in a cost and time effective manner in line with Company service standards and expectations. 5. Liaise with internal – Travel Insurance Manager for the approval or decline claims. 6. Prepare letters and other documentation as necessary subject to Company service standards. 7. Provide optimum levels of customer service by answering any questions professionally, listening and developing a rapport with the customer and taking all necessary action to meet customer expectation and solve customer problems in a timely and efficient way. 8. Provide quality follow through and excellence in service in all dealings with customers and client companies. 9. Provide honest and fair assessment of status of workload to management. 10. Ensure the status of claims handled reflects the true status of the claims. 11. Ensure that estimates are maintained as a true reflection of the potential or actual claim exposure. 12. Prepare and submit reports to the Healthcare Manager as required. 13. Other activities and responsibilities are directed from time to time by Healthcare Manager. Key Working Relationships: This position requires a person who is open-minded and self-motivated. The successful candidate must be presentable and capable of establishing a good rapport with people of varied seniority in the companies that will be approached and need to establish a good working relationship with our fronting insurance companies. Although the position reports directly to the Healthcare Manager, the person will work somewhat autonomously. To be successful the person will need to be dedicated, trustworthy and persistent in their efforts to promote the company’s services. Work Conditions: Working Hours: 8.30 – 17.30 hrs. Working Days : Five days per week Location : Head office
