- -Supervise and coordinate the activities of operating workers, such as foremen, supervisors, precision workers, machine setters and operators (for CNC lathe/boring/milling machines).Organize the shifts and the manpower based on job load. Monitor the machines load capacity following the progress plan assigned by Planning Department. -Follow up production sequences, to meet production goals, follow up the orders, and organize work. Confers with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances. Attend to weekly meetings with production and department managers to share job progress status. -Recommends or implements measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency. -Requisitions materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services. Sets up and adjusts machines and equipment. Demonstrates equipment operations or work procedures to new employees or assigns employees to experienced workers for training.
